Phased Registration Rules:
From Jan 1, 2027 → Only electric auto-rickshaws can be registered.
From Apr 1, 2028 → Only electric two-wheelers can be registered.
Purchase Incentives:
E-two-wheelers: ₹30,000 (Year 1), ₹20,000 (Year 2), ₹10,000 (Year 3).
E-three-wheelers (autos): ₹50,000 (Year 1), ₹40,000 (Year 2), ₹30,000 (Year 3).
N1 category trucks (≤3.5 tonnes): Up to ₹1 lakh incentive.
Scrappage Incentives:
₹10,000 for two-wheelers.
₹25,000 for three-wheelers.
₹50,000 for small trucks.
₹1 lakh for scrapping BS-IV or older four-wheelers.
Investment: ₹15,000 crore allocated over four years for charging infrastructure and EV ecosystem.
