JCB Hydromax — Hydrogen Speed Meets Sustainability
JCB, globally recognized for its construction machinery, has unveiled the Hydromax hydrogen-powered concept vehicle, aiming to break speed barriers by chasing 350 mph (563 km/h). Unlike traditional combustion engines, Hydromax uses hydrogen fuel cells to generate electricity, producing only water vapour as emissions.
Speed Target: 350 mph (563 km/h)
Powertrain: Hydrogen fuel cell propulsion system
Emissions: Zero carbon — only water vapour
Purpose: Showcase hydrogen’s potential beyond industry, into high-performance mobility
Hydromax proves that hydrogen is both clean and powerful. By eliminating fossil fuels, it reduces greenhouse gases, supports energy independence, and demonstrates that sustainability can coexist with extreme performance.
