China’s Maglev Breakthrough – 0 to 800 km/h in Just 5.3 Seconds!

At Donghu Laboratory in Hubei province, China has set a new world record by accelerating a 1.1-tonne experimental maglev vehicle from 0 to 800 km/h in just 5.3 seconds on a 1-km test track.
The feat generated over 4.27 G of force—comparable to fighter jet maneuvers.
This breakthrough isn’t meant for passengers yet, but it lays the foundation for next-gen ultra-high-speed rail, aerospace testing, and even electromagnetic launch systems for satellites.
China continues to push the boundaries of transportation technology, redefining what’s possible in speed and control.
